Ben Daub, BAT
Junior Heritage Planner
Ben Daub is a Junior Heritage Planner with LHC. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Architecture – Project and Facility Management from Conestoga College and is currently a Master of Arts in Planning student at the University of Waterloo. His Master’s thesis is analyzing how heritage conservation is situated within the ever-intensifying urban form and how the valuation of heritage conservation, as dictated by heritage professionals, manifests through the selection of various adaptation typologies. His academic experience has provided him with a detailed understanding of the built environment at a range of geographic- and site-based scales. During his time at the University of Waterloo, Ben has held various research assistant positions, enabling him to hone his research capacities.
